SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed in regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The services stage developed for intervention activities a superior influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all clients and raise entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
